ACOUSTIC TESTING, ANALYSIS AND SOUND ABATEMENT
Industrial Noise Control:
To provide industrial noise control
solutions in the petrochemical, manufacturing, marine,
and government facilities. We identify the source and
causes of unwanted noise, we offer abatement options,
design, fabricate, and install the selected solution.
All initial and final tests are reported with complete
documentation.
Environmental Noise Assessment:
To provide ambient time based noise
studies of community, road, rail, air, and industrial
noise problems. Long or short term monitoring stations
collect noise and climate data to aid in planning or
correction. Our specialized computer programs provide
accurate efficient barrier wall design. Plant radiated
noise models provide excellent permitting and original
design data to insure new installations will not cause
community problems.
Room Acoustics:
VEC has performed room reverberation
studies, wall transmission loss studies, floor transmission
loss studies, and structure born noise studies. Our
experience in noise and vibration has enabled us to
identify and isolate unusual problems such as traffic,
seismic vibration and noise, air conditioning turbulence,
and gas or water noise. Our computer programs provide
a graphic tool to model and identify indoor factory
noise problems.
